This matcha gets its name from the term “Kon-rin-zai” in a classic Buddhism works, with the meaning of “deep down to the bottom in the earth”. A robust and balanced matcha with a good mix of aroma and flavour; it has slight bitter, tart and earthy undertones. The name conveys the profoundness of this matcha.
